Euroskills 2025: Liechtenstein’s Expert Claudio Nigg to Take Part Again
Yo, peeps! The Euroskills 2025 is gonna be lit! The eighth edition of Euroskills just wrapped up in Danzig with a dope closing ceremony and awards show. Over three days, 576 young professionals from 32 European countries battled it out in 42 different trades to become the European champions. And you know what’s up? The Worldskills-Europe flag was passed on to the next host country, Denmark, for the ninth edition of Euroskills in 2025. It’s gonna go down in Herning, a Danish city with 50,000 inhabitants in the middle of Jutland. The competitions will be held at the MCH Messecenter, the biggest exhibition center in all of Scandinavia, covering over 450,000 square meters. Talk about massive, right?
Claudio Nigg: The Man with the Skills
So, peeps, our boy Claudio Nigg is gonna be back in action for Euroskills 2025. He’s an expert in CNC milling and was elected as the Deputy Chief Expert for the trade in Denmark. This dude knows his stuff! He killed it at the Worldskills in Canada back in 2009, where he received a performance diploma as the best European in CNC milling. Now he’s a trainer at Hilti and has been an expert for Team Liechtenstein since 2019. His protégés have been smashing it too. Luzian Clavadetscher got a performance diploma at the 2019 Worldskills in Russia, and Yannick Schädler became the Vice European Champion at Euroskills 2021 in Graz. Y’all, this dude knows how to train winners!
Claudio Nigg: From Expert to Deputy Chief Expert
Claudio Nigg is a big shot, y’all! He was nominated for the Deputy Chief Expert position in CNC milling at Euroskills 2025 in Denmark. Alongside Germany, Portugal, and the Netherlands, Liechtenstein was in the running. The German Herbert Mattes remains the Chief Expert, and Claudio Nigg was elected as the Deputy Chief Expert. He turned down the Chief Expert role because it would be too much hustle, but he’s stoked to be part of the team and contribute to the development of his trade. And who wouldn’t be, right? It’s a major flex to be recommended and chosen by your colleagues!
Preparing for Euroskills 2025
In his new role, Claudio Nigg will join forces with the Chief Expert and Denmark to organize the CNC milling competitions in Herning. They’ll be the go-to peeps for the project designer, create schedules for the candidates, set up the machines, and keep the experts in the loop. They’ll also handle the scoring system. It’s gonna be a dope collaboration, fam! And guess what? Claudio Nigg will be heading to Denmark in spring next year to finalize the technical description of the trade. They’ll also focus on sustainability, which is a major priority for the host country. Our trade offers plenty of opportunities in that area, so it’s gonna be lit!
That’s a wrap, peeps! Euroskills 2025 is gonna be off the chain, and Claudio Nigg is gonna rock it as the Deputy Chief Expert in CNC milling. Stay tuned for more updates on this epic event!
